What’s the difference?

I swear I’m the only teenager to actually want to grow up. Honestly. Does anyone else feel this way? I’ve just decided that I think my life would work out better in every way if I was just that tiiiny bit older. Reason behind me thinking this is because I am desperate to be the assistant manager of the bar I work in, but I don’t think that I’m seen in a very good light because of who I am. I’m valued there and have been given responsibility, but it’s not quite the level I’m aiming for. If I were older I think that my eccentric behaviour would be overlooked and it wouldn’t be a problem, but because of my age, I think it’s seen as immature. I don’t know. I just don’t like being part of a stereotype unwillingly.
